Solution Promotion and Capacity Development in Mexico, Mission Series IV: Guadalupe Valley and San Quintín

From 13-22 February 2018 Adelphi visited Guadalupe Valley and San Quintín  to share knowledge and promote tools created throughout the SUBSOL project as well as to elaborate regional implementation opportunities with local stakeholders.

Solution Promotion and Capacity Development in Mexico, Mission Series IV

This report aims to inform the reader about the Subsurface Water Solution concepts presented and discussed in a Public Promotion Event and finalised in a Project Development Workshop in each region Guadalupe valley and San Quintín. These activities were part of the scope of the Mission IV Series in the Guadalupe Valley and San Quintín, Mexico in the SubSol project.

DBT publishes Step-by-step guide to stakeholder involvement

Drawing on lessons learnt from stakeholder workshops held at the four replication sites in Denmark, The Netherlads, Greece and Mexico, DBT has published a step-by-step guide to stakeholder engagement to support pilot projects, decision making and implementation in relation to Subsurface Water Solutions.

Adelphi develops Subsurface Water Solutions in Brazil, China, Cyprus, Mexico and Vietnam

From January until May 2018, adelphi is conducting events and workshops in Brazil, China, Cyprus, Mexico and Vietnam to develop Subsurface Water Solutions adapted to the specific local requirements such as coastal saline water intrusion in overexploited aquifers. 

Maneadero Workshop

18 months SUBSOL, intermediate evaluation of project results

The Consortium Partners have marked the first 18 months of SUBSOL during their Project Steering Board meeting in Copenhagen on 6 and 7 April.

Mission visit to Replication and Target Sites in Mexico

In December 2016 representatives from the SUBSOL project visited some replication sites to assess the state of replication and its drivers and barriers for preparing a meeting in Maneadero and present the project's innovative SWS.
